1 Introduction
Diplotix uses AI-assisted features to help users work faster, understand hiring information, and organize recruiting workflows.
AI features are designed to support human decision-making. They do not replace human judgment, and they do not make final hiring decisions.
Recruiters, candidates, partners, and administrators should review AI output carefully before relying on it or acting on it.
2 Scope
This AI Usage Policy applies to AI-assisted features in Diplotix, including features used by:
- Candidates, where AI-assisted features are available to them.
- Recruiters and recruiter team members.
- Partners, where AI-related information appears in partner workflows or communications.
- Administrators who review AI usage, audit records, support issues, abuse reports, or platform operations.
This policy should be read together with the Diplotix Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookie Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Partner Program Terms.
3 Current AI Features
The current audited product includes recruiter-facing generative AI decision-support features through OpenRouter where AI is configured and the recruiter workspace has access.
Current AI-assisted recruiter features may include:
- Candidate or resume insights, including summaries, strengths, risks, possible missing skills, and suggested interview focus areas.
- AI-generated interview questions, including technical, experience, behavioral, and role-specific questions.
- Candidate comparisons for candidates connected to the same job.
- Hiring recommendation support, including an evidence-based recommendation label, confidence score, reasons, concerns, and interview focus areas.
- AI usage, credit, token, cost, model, audit, and operational records used to manage access, limits, support, and platform oversight.
The product also includes candidate-job matching, recommendations, ranking signals, fit scores, and match summaries. The audited implementation indicates that these matching features are primarily platform logic and deterministic scoring unless a separate generative AI feature is explicitly used.
Candidate-facing resume parsing is currently disabled. Resume upload is still available.
AI features may evolve over time. Diplotix may add, change, limit, rename, or remove AI-assisted features.
4 Human Responsibility
Recruiters remain responsible for hiring decisions. Recruiters must review AI output, check it against the underlying candidate and job information, avoid discriminatory use, and make lawful human decisions.
Candidates remain responsible for the information they submit, including resumes, profiles, applications, portfolio materials, screening answers, and other content.
Partners should not rely on Diplotix AI features for legal, tax, financial, accounting, or payout advice.
Administrators remain responsible for moderation, support, fraud review, security review, platform oversight, and any operational action they take after reviewing AI-related records.
5 AI Limitations
AI can make mistakes.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, irrelevant, or based on incomplete context. AI may misunderstand prompts, overstate confidence, miss important facts, or generate output that sounds certain even when it should not be treated as certain.
Users should always review AI output before using it, sharing it, making a hiring decision, contacting a candidate, rejecting a candidate, posting content, or taking any other action.
Diplotix does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, fairness, usefulness, availability, or suitability of AI output.
6 Fair Hiring
AI is intended to assist hiring workflows, not to replace fair and lawful human review.
Diplotix encourages recruiters to use the platform in a fair, lawful, and non-discriminatory way. Recruiters remain responsible for complying with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, privacy, and candidate-protection laws.
AI output should not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions, interview decisions, rejection decisions, salary decisions, or other hiring outcomes.
Recruiters should compare AI output against the candidate's actual application, resume, interview performance, job requirements, and other lawful hiring evidence.
7 Data Used by AI
AI features may process information that users submit to or generate in Diplotix, depending on the feature and the user's role.
This may include:
- Candidate profile information.
- Resumes or resume-related context.
- Application information.
- Screening answers.
- Job titles, job descriptions, requirements, and skills.
- Candidate-job match scores or match summaries.
- Interview feedback.
- Existing AI insights, interview questions, comparisons, or recommendation context.
- Prompts or prompt payloads prepared by the service.
- AI outputs and usage metadata.
Diplotix attempts to remove or reduce direct identifiers in recruiter AI prompt payloads where feasible, such as certain IDs, email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, and candidate names. This process may not remove every possible identifier or every personal detail, especially where users enter personal information in free-text fields.
We do not make unsupported claims about whether third-party AI providers use or retain prompt data. For more information about personal data, storage, retention, and third-party processing, see the Diplotix Privacy Policy.
8 Third-Party AI Providers
The current implemented generative AI provider is OpenRouter.
Diplotix may send AI prompt payloads, model requests, model responses, and usage metadata to OpenRouter when recruiter AI features are used.
OpenRouter may process this information according to its own terms, privacy notices, retention settings, model routing, and provider arrangements. Because provider settings and routing can vary, Diplotix does not make specific claims in this policy about OpenRouter prompt retention, training use, or routing beyond what has been verified in the product.
AI providers, models, routing, costs, availability, and configuration may change over time. Diplotix may change providers or models without guaranteeing identical outputs.
9 Prohibited Uses
You must not use Diplotix AI features to:
- Break the law or assist illegal activity.
- Commit fraud or payment abuse.
- Create fake jobs, fake companies, fake recruiters, fake candidates, fake resumes, fake applications, or fake referrals.

- Harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against, or target people unlawfully.

- Run prompt injection attacks or attempt to extract hidden prompts, credentials, secrets, system instructions, or private data.
- Automate abuse, scraping, credential attacks, or unauthorized data collection.
- Upload or generate malware, malicious code, or content designed to compromise systems.
- Use AI output as the sole basis for hiring, rejection, salary, employment, legal, tax, medical, financial, or safety decisions.
Diplotix may restrict, suspend, investigate, or terminate access where AI features are misused.
10 Intellectual Property
Users remain responsible for the content they submit, publish, send, or rely on, including content created or assisted by AI.
AI-generated content should be reviewed before use. Users should make sure they have the right to use any inputs they provide and that any outputs they publish or share are accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate.
Diplotix does not guarantee that AI output is unique, protectable, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular use.
11 Service Changes
AI features may change, improve, become unavailable, or be discontinued.
Outputs may differ over time because of changes to prompts, models, providers, product configuration, available data, rate limits, plan access, provider behavior, or user input.
Diplotix may limit AI usage through plans, roles, credits, rate limits, regeneration limits, abuse controls, or operational review.
